In the United States this month,
we celebrate our independence as a nation. There is a link to five devotionals at the
conclusion of this newsletter that talk more about freedom, and I think they will be a
great blessing to you.
You see,
sisters, many of you are not free because you are shackled to guilt, lack of forgiveness,
grievous hurts, and sinful attitudes and actions. Jesus died to set you FREE. This month's
scripture is taken from Paul's letter to the church at Galatia. They were believers in the
resurrected Jesus, but they were still in bondage to the rules and regulations of the
Jewish leaders. They thought theywere required to observe the Jewish Law and couldn't
accept that they were free from sin because of the shed blood of Jesus!
Christ has
liberated us into freedom.
Therefore, stand firm and don't submit again to a yoke of slavery.
Galatians 5:1
Your yoke of
slavery may not be a legalistic attitude toward rules and regulations, but it might be an
enslavement to hurts, anger, and/or false guilt.
Sometimes
it's not easy to enjoy the freedom Jesus offers because Satan is always there to throw out
accusations. Sisters, Christ has liberated us into freedom! You must stand firm. That
means STAND FIRM. Don't give in to false guilt. If you have asked Jesus to forgive you,
then accept it. STAND FIRM. It doesn't matter if you have hateful feelings in your heart,
if you have had an abortion, even if you have killed another person. You can be free from
those shackles!!! |

renewing of your mind.

Christ has liberated us into freedom.
Therefore, stand firm and don't submit again to a yoke of slavery.
(Galatians 5:1)
Write this scripture down
and post it in a frequented area so it will become a part of your mind, your heart, and
your soul. |
Beloved, Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly.
You will never have an abundant life if you are shackled to
false guilt, to hurt feelings, to anger, to whatever else
is ensnaring you.
Thank God for your freedom!

God, this newsletter
describes me perfectly.
I have been holding onto hurts, frustrations, and fears.
Now, I'm accepting the gift of freedom
that Jesus bought for me at Calvary.
Help me to resist the enemy's attacks and
help me to stand firm as your victorious daughter!
Thank you for
liberating me into freedom! |
