Hello Sisters!
This month's
guiding scripture is one with which you are probably familiar, but I want you to look at
it closely, examine it carefully, and find ways to apply it in your daily living.
May the
words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart by pleasing in Your sight, O Lord!
You are
responsible for the words you utter and the things on which you meditate. In fact, the
things on which you meditate usually dictate the words you speak. Are these thoughts and
words pleasing to God?
This goes
back to WWJD -- What Would Jesus Do?
Would He think the thoughts you're thinking?
Would He say the words you;re speaking?
Would He act as you're acting? |
Guiding Scripture...
Be transformed by the
renewing of your mind.
Romans 12:2
In addition to Romans 12:2,
this
month's scripture is God's perfect
direction for becoming the
woman God wants you to be!
May the words of
my mouth and the
meditation of my heart
be pleasing in Your
sight, O Lord!
Psalm 19:14
Write this scripture down and post it in a frequented area so it will become a part of
your mind, your heart, and your soul. |
Take an inventory of
the things you think about and the words you say. Are they pleasing to God?
Displeasing thoughts and words might involve:
Complaining
Dreams of revenge
Pornography
Self-hate
Anger at God
Arguments in your mind with yourself or others
Cursing
Philippians 4:8 tells us to think on things that
are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, praiseworthy or excellent. And
Hebrews 13:15 tells us to let the fruit of our lips be praise to God. |

This month,
concentrate on this life-changing scripture --
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be pleasing to You, O Lord!
Be aware of each and every thought and word --
and evaluate if they are pleasing to God.
Blessings to you on your Journey To Renewal.....
PRAYER
Father, too often we
think thoughts that are not
pleasing to You, and we speak words that don't bring You glory. As we come to You this
month in prayer and in
study of Your word, help us to gain a better
