Nothing puts a damper on your life like financial problems. If we were in Heaven, we'd not need money but we're not in Heaven. We're here on earth, and it takes money to survive. And God knows that. He's the one who gave us money but He wants us to be wise with our finances. When Jesus was on earth, He talked a LOT about money -- not to love it but to handle it with wisdom. And Solomon, the world's wisest and richest man, gave simple but profound principles about handling money, especially in the book of Proverbs. There are two ways to renew your finances -- spend less money or make more. Of course, that's easier said than done. You didn't get in this predicament overnight (probably), and you probably won't get out of it overnight, either. But slowly, steadily, with lots of prayer and lots of determination, you CAN dig out of debt and renew your finances! |
