Sisters, many of you are not free
because you are shackled to guilt, lack of forgiveness, grievous hurts, and sinful
attitudes and actions. Jesus died to set you FREE. Early Christians were shackled to the
Jewish rules and regulations. They couldn't accept that they were free from sin based ONLY
on the shed blood of Jesus!
Philippians
2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.
This is a
life-changing scripture of guidance, of comfort, of knowledge, and of significance. God
loves YOU with an everlasting love. You are His creation, and He loves you. He loved you
before you were conceived in your mothers womb (Jeremiah 1:5); He loves you now
(John 3:16); and He will always love you (Jeremiah 31:3).
Because God
created you in His image (Genesis 1:27), He wants you to love with an everlasting love,
too (Deuteronomy 6:5, Leviticus 19:18). This genuine love, this unconditional love, this
God-type of love is what Jesus was talking about in this topic's scripture. Love God and
love others! (Matthew 22:37-40) Love deeply and sincerely and unendingly! Love with
an everlasting love!
Ephesians
1:18 says that God lavished us with wisdom and understanding out of the riches of His
grace. Grace is an unmerited gift. Grace is love. Grace is God's love! And He lavished us
with it! Wow!! |

Corinthians 13:8a, Paul says, "Love never fails." (13:8a) Thats a huge
statement, and a statement that can be troubling if you love someone or loved them
but the relationship failed. It's especially troubling if you are angry at God or
if you have fallen out of love with yourself. What is this word "love"
that Paul uses in this chapter? It is the Greek word agape. Agape is a God-given love. It
is the love God gives us, and it is the love God gave us as a fruit of the Spirit
(Galatians 5:22). Agape means benevolence, and youll find it translated
"charity" in the King James Version. Charity. Benevolent. Giving. Sacrificial.
Agape love never fails. Sexual attractions fade. Brotherly bonds break. Family
relationships fracture. But Gods love agape never fails. It is an
everlasting love!
Although forgiveness is a
big part of agape love, we're not looking at that this month. This message is for YOU.
It's for YOU to grasp the gigantic truth that God loves YOU. He sent His Son to die for
You. He loved you before you were ever created in the womb -- and He will always love YOU.
God loves YOU with an
everlasting love!!!!! |

Beloved, God has always loved you with an everlasting love.
You are His creation. When you asked Jesus into your heart,
You became God's child. He loves you!!
Embrace that love. Cherish it. Share it with others.
And lavishly return it to your Father who loves you with an everlasting love!
PRAYER
God, the thing I want most in
the world is love.
To know that You love me -- and that You will
always love me -- is a truth I cherish.
Help me accept Your love.
Help me share Your love with others.
Thank you for giving Your love in the ultimate way --
in the person of Your Son, Jesus, my friend and Savior.
AMEN! |
